Hi, I'm Billie

I'm the cat lover behind Snug Paws. I've had cats since I was little — I love dogs too, but there's just something special about cats for me. These days I share my home (and my desk, as you can probably tell) with Mojo, the handsome shadow keeping me company here, and his partner in crime, Boots.

I started Snug Paws after we once took Mojo to a cattery — it frightened him so much he's never wanted to get in the car since. It taught me what I now build everything around: most cats are far happier at home, in their own space and routine. So I offer calm, unhurried visits that keep your cat settled where they feel safest, with a daily photo so you can switch off and truly enjoy your time away.

Pet First Aid trained through the Australian Red Cross, police checked, and caring for cats right across Sydney's Northern Beaches.

I'm first and foremost a cat carer — but if you have a small dog (under 10kg) who's happy at home, there's a good chance I can help with visits too: feeding, toilet breaks and a little company, with the same calm, careful attention your cat would get. Every dog is different, so get in touch and we'll have a chat about whether I'm the right fit for yours.

Common questions

What's included in a visit?

Every visit includes fresh food and water, litter cleaning, a wellbeing check, play or gentle company, and a photo update so you know how your cat's doing. I'm also happy to bring in the mail, put the bins out or water a few indoor plants at no extra charge, and medication is available as a small add-on if your cat needs it.

How often will you visit, and do I have to book every day?

As often as your cat needs. Most cats do well with one visit a day, while kittens, seniors or cats who love company often prefer two. You can book as many or as few visits as you like — from a single day to an extended holiday — and longer stays and regular clients enjoy reduced rates (see Services above).

Which pets do you look after?

Cats are my speciality — from playful kittens to senior cats. If you also have a small dog (under 10kg) who's comfortable at home, there's a good chance I can help with visits too — just get in touch and we'll chat about whether it's the right fit.

Can we meet before I book, and how do I book?

Yes — every new client starts with a free meet & greet, so I can meet you and your cat, learn their routine and answer any questions. Just send an enquiry using the form above and I'll be in touch to arrange it.

Are you qualified and insured?

Yes — Snug Paws is fully insured (public liability), I'm Pet First Aid trained through the Australian Red Cross, hold a current National Police Check, and am a registered business (ABN 14 671 767 199). Your pets and home are in careful, capable hands.

How do you access my home?

I'll discuss the easiest and safest way to access your home during the meet & greet. Any keys, alarm codes or access details are kept secure and only used for your booking.

What if my travel plans change?

I understand plans can change. If you need to adjust your booking, just let me know as soon as you can and I'll do my best to accommodate your new dates.
